The Mission of IAFF Local Union #2959, otherwise known as The Professional Firefighters and Paramedics of Martin County, shall be to elevate the standards of Firefighting, EMS services and public safety initiatives to the highest level for the residents and visitors of Martin County. We will accomplish this with the united vision of our organization through a collaborative effort with our Martin County Fire Rescue Administration and the Martin County Board of County Commissioners. We are steadfast in our beliefs in helping our members, retirees and community in times of need. We strive to cultivate friendships with various charitable organizations, always focusing on the highest level of service we can provide to our community.
